Gridiron Club Mission Statement

"To Maintain a perpetual Club whose purpose is to assure the viability of our football programs.

The organization will provide services to offset gaps in funding and other deficiencies, which may arise in the future. The Club will not only serve as primary communications vehicle for program needs, but also related activities.

Success will not be measured by mere Wins and Losses, but by the betterment of all associated with Simsbury High School."

Welcome to the 2008 Simsbury High School Football Season

Dear Members,

The Simsbury Gridiron Club is a booster club for football in Simsbury and, in particular, our high school program. Our common goal is to ensure that the students participating in football have a safe, fun, and successful season. The Club raises money for necessary equipment, scholarships, and resources not funded by the Board of Education that help sustain a strong and competitive football program. The Club is managed by volunteers and all of the net proceeds benefit the football program. In the past, the Simsbury Gridiron Club has raised money to fund uniform jerseys, our new scoreboard, the new weight room, along with a variety of other necessary equipment for players, coaches, and the practice field.

We want to publicly thank our sponsors and encourage everyone in the community to patronize them. We especially want to recognize our Scoreboard Sponsors and our Gold, Silver, and Bronze Golf Tourney sponsors. Without your support, we would not be able to produce a quality football product year in and year out. Lastly, we urge anyone interested in Simsbury Football to become a member of the Simsbury Gridiron Club, and get involved in its booster activities.

The Simsbury Football Family has built a solid program that is only sustainable with your help and volunteerism. Let’s make this upcoming season one of the best ever for our boys.
